The 45th edition of the Priora Grape Festival in Sorrento, 2026

From Friday, October 2nd to Sunday, October 4th, 2026, the Grape Festival returns to Priora , a hamlet of Sorrento . This is the 45th edition of a festival organized by the parish of Sant'Atanasio Vescovo , linked to the celebrations of Our Lady of the Rosary . Three evenings of food stands, music, dance, and cabaret, with free admission.

Every evening, the stands open at 19:00 PM with sandwiches, a food and wine trail, and a corner dedicated to tasting Campanian wines . The highlight is the Priora grape wine, but the menu also features traditional dishes from the Sorrento Peninsula. The festival concludes on Sunday with a lottery draw.

The evening by evening program

On Friday, October 2nd , at 20:00 PM , the Danziamo school's "Hip Hop American College" opens. At 20:30 PM there's the Ralgos Magic Show , at 21:00 PM the "Sex and the Sud" cabaret, and at 22:00 PM music by the Four Notes.

On Saturday, October 3rd, the evening kicks off at 20:00 PM with "Come d'incanto" by ASD Evolution Dance . The Fire Show begins at 20:30 PM , followed by live music by Seira at 21:00 PM , and cabaret by Ciro Giustiniani at 22:00 PM.

On Sunday, October 4th, at 20:00 PM , ASD Ginnastica Sorrento will perform "Gymnastics, Dance, and... Imagination." At 20:30 PM , "'A Paranza ro' Tramuntan" will perform, featuring traditional music and dance. At 21:30 PM, Marco Palmieri will perform the lottery draw.

Food and wine stands

The heart of the festival is the food stands , open every evening from 19:00 PM . They range from filled sandwiches to a complete food and wine tour, with a corner dedicated to Campanian wines . Among the stalls are also crafts from the Sorrento peninsula.

Admission is free ; you only pay for what you consume. The evening is suitable for families and groups, and on Sunday, the raffle concludes the celebration in the square.

Free shuttle and how to get there

A free shuttle service connects Piazza Lauro , in the center of Sorrento, to Priora. It runs from 19:00 PM to 23:00 PM , convenient because parking is limited in Priora, especially on holiday nights.

By car, you can reach the village from the road, but it's best to leave your car in the center and take the shuttle. Priora is just a few minutes from Piazza Lauro and can also be reached on foot, with an uphill walk.

The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary

The festival is held concurrently with the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary , which is the central moment of the year in Priora. The two celebrations have been intertwined for decades: the procession and religious festivities provide the backdrop to the civil celebration, with stands and performances in the square.

The parish of Sant'Atanasio Vescovo organizes everything, with the help of volunteers from the hamlet. This 45th edition confirms a long-standing tradition, which brings people from all over the Sorrento peninsula to Priora every October.
