IGP Chestnut and Porcini Mushroom Festival in Roccamonfina 2024

From October 5th to November 3rd 2024, at roccamonfina (CE) returns the IGP Chestnut and Porcini Mushroom Festival, an unmissable event for lovers of autumn flavors. For five consecutive weekends, every Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 until late evening, it will be possible to taste typical local products, watch live shows, participate in excursions and experience moments of entertainment for adults and children. Admission is free and the event is designed for everyone, from families to nature and food enthusiasts.

What do you eat at the festival

The festival is famous for its culinary offerings linked to autumn flavours and local tradition. During the event, you can taste:

• IGP Chestnuts of Roccamonfina roasted or used in various traditional recipes
• Porcini mushrooms cooked in various ways
• Typical local dishes based on meat and seasonal vegetables
• Traditional sweets based on chestnuts and mushrooms
• Local wine and other typical drinks

Every day will be a party, with lots of live music and DJ sets at sunset to end the days in the name of fun.

Information and parking

The festival takes place in the centre of roccamonfina, easily reachable from the main roads of the province of Caserta. For those arriving from Naples, it is possible to take the Rome-Naples motorway with exit at Caianello. Are expected large parking lots near the exhibition area to facilitate the flow of visitors, ensuring convenient and easy access.
