Polenta Festival 2025 in Santa Maria a Vico with typical dishes and sandwiches

Who is organizing the event?

The festival is organized by theOratory of Santa Maria a Vico, Under the patronage of Municipality of Giffoni Valle Piana and Municipality of Giffoni Six Casali, in addition to the support of the Archdiocese of Salerno Campagna Acerno. Thanks to the community's commitment and passion for gastronomic traditions, this event has become a regular event for lovers of good food and folk music.

The food stands will offer a wide variety of dishes based on polenta, prepared in different variations to satisfy all palates:

• Polenta Bolognese: with tasty ragù and cheese.

• Evening enlivened by popular music, with a performance by the group At the Paranza do Tramuntan.

Sunday 23 February – Waiting for Carnival

• 15 hours: 30: Opening of food stands.
• Animation and entertainment for adults and children.
• Music and tradition for an afternoon of celebration while waiting for Carnival in the Contrade.
