Porchetta Festival 2025 in Sant'Antonio Abate. Good food and concerts
From 11 to 19 January 2025, Sant'Antonio Abate will host the 47st edition of the Porchetta Festival, an event that celebrates traditions, gastronomy and entertainment. Among the most anticipated moments, the lighting of the Fucarazzo 'and Sant'Antuono, a symbol of local culture, and a rich calendar of free concerts with leading artists. In addition to the delicacies prepared by the porchettari, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in artisan markets, shows and historical reenactments. An unmissable event to rediscover the cultural roots and charm of one of the most beloved festivals in Campania.
The Porchetta Festival: Tradition and Taste
The Porchetta Festival is an event that unites gastronomy, handicraft and tradition. The local porchettari will be the protagonists, offering the public a wide range of porchetta-based specialties, cooked according to traditional recipes of the area. The stands will be located along Sandro Pertini Square, transforming the heart of the city into a huge party.
In addition to food, there will be vintage and artisan markets, where you can buy unique objects and discover ancient crafts. The event aims to promote local excellence, involving the entire community in a cultural and culinary journey.
The Main Events
During the 9 days of celebration, many events are planned. Here are some of the main events:
- January 11: Official inauguration at Largo Sandro Pertini, with the presentation of the porchettari and exhibitors.
- January 16: The ignition of the Fucarazzo 'and Sant'Antuono, accompanied by music, fireworks and prayers, is one of the most evocative moments of the event.
- January 17: Blessing of the animals in Piazza della Libertà, followed by ancient games and wine tasting in the Natural Park.
Free Concerts & Entertainment
Music will be one of the protagonists of the Festival, with 8 nights of free concerts which will see the performance of nationally renowned artists. Here is the calendar:
