Sfrionzola and Country Sausage Festival: an event not to be missed in Ottati

Saturday 7th December is Sunday 8 December 2024, the characteristic alleys of the Historic Center of Ottati (SA) they will host the 33rd edition of the Sfrionzola and Country Sausage Festival. An unmissable event for those who wish to immerse themselves in the authentic essence of this territory and taste the typical flavours of tradition.

La Sfrionzola, for those who don't know it, is a dish made up of pieces of selected pork with pickled peppers, a perfect mix to accompany with a good local wine. During the festival, the food stand will be open Saturday night e Sunday both for lunch and dinner, offering visitors the chance to taste typical dishes of the cuisine octatese.

During the Sfrionzola and Country Sausage Festival, visitors will have the opportunity to taste various typical dishes of the Ottatese culinary tradition. In addition to the Sfrionzola, prepared with Selected pork and pickled peppers, it will be possible to taste the village sausage, roasted on the spot and accompanied by local side dishes. There will also be other gastronomic specialties such as homemade bread, Local cheeses and a selection of typical cured meats of the area.
