At the festival of the zeppola of San Giuseppe Vesuviano, many sweets and art pastry!
Il 30 April and 1 May 2016, St. Joseph Vesuvius will host the festival of the zeppola, the tasty review dedicated to one of the most loved sweets by the Neapolitans.
The event, now in its XIV edition, will involve the most famous pastry shops in the area that for the occasion will propose large quantities of each type of zeppola, whether fried or baked.
So many surprises scheduled to be unveiled, but one thing is certain: the star of the event will be there historical pastry product that as always will not disappoint the palate of all gourmets present.
The tasty kermesse was born with the intent of promulgate an ancient culinary art and the work of the master pastry chefs of San Giuseppe Vesuviano, whose work has always delighted citizens and tourists.
If you do not know how to spend the weekend of May 1st, the festival certainly represents an experience to try, not only to taste the famous zeppola, but also to rediscover an ancient confectionery tradition handed down from generation to generation and that represents one of the undisputed stars of the Neapolitan territory.

Saturday April 30th
At the 10.30 they open the tasting stands, while from the same time until the 18.30 there will be the play areas for children with inflatables. Instead, from the 18.30 to the 20.30 the Violetta concert followed by Edison and Jo Salà.
Sunday May 1th
At 20.00 there will be the cover band of Pino Daniele, Lazzari Felici, followed by Mino Abbacuccio, Gigi and Ross and Sex and the Sud by Made in Sud.
