Village festivals are almost always paid for on a per-use basis : admission is free , but it's a good idea to bring cash , as not all stands accept cards. Parking is limited in the villages of Irpinia and Matese : it's best to arrive early, especially on Saturday evenings.
On peak evenings, waits at refreshment stands can exceed 30 minutes . One last tip: always check the official Pro Loco channels, as schedules and programs can change at the last minute.
