Vele d'Epoca 2017 starts in the Gulf of Naples with regattas and parades of historic boats, exhibitions and events at Borgo Marinari!
From the 29 June to the 2 July (with registration of participants on June 28) the appointment with Vintage Sails 2017 in Naples, review organized by the Circolo Canottieri Savoia. At the fourteenth edition of the event will participate beautiful models of classic and vintage yachts.
The program provides regattas and parades of historic boats accompanied by social evenings at Borgo Marinari, which for the occasion will turn into Borgo dei Pirati. The registered boats are currently sixteen, of which the oldest is launched in the 1910.
This year a special guest will sail the waters of the gulf, The Lady of the Wind, three-masted sailing ship of the 1965. The ship, with its own 85 meters in length it is second in size only to Amerigo Vespucci. In the regattas, not only sailboats will compete, but also rowing boats.
In fact, the second edition of the Capri - Naples Coastal Rowing, with four rowing boats of a couple plus helmsman. There will be one at the Circolo Savoia charity evening with Telethon and the exhibition of the painter Gennaro Regina.
