Salerno Dolcissima 2024 chocolate and sweets festival on the seafront

From October 31 to November 3, 2024, the Trieste – Santa Teresa seafront of Salerno will host Salerno Very sweet, the Feast of the Artisan Chocolate and Sweets of Italy.

The event will be held on the occasion of Halloween and All Saints' Day, giving visitors a long weekend of sweet delights. Admission is free and open to all, for a celebration that promises to be unforgettable for lovers of chocolate and traditional sweets.

What to expect in Salerno Dolcissima

During Salerno Very sweet, the seafront will transform into a paradise for gourmets, with stand rich in delicacies prepared by the best master chocolatiers and pastry chefs in Italy. In addition to the homemade chocolate, visitors will be able to taste and purchase a wide range of traditional Italian desserts, as:

• Traditional Sicilian artisanal nougats
• Hazelnut brittle
• Cremini e Chocolates
• Spreadable creams with Giffoni IGP hazelnuts
• Other sweets and specialties from different regions of Italy

Upcoming activities and events

In addition to the tasting and sale of sweets, Salerno Very sweet will also offer a series of themed activities to involve adults and children. Among the scheduled events:

• European Cultural Factory of Artisan Chocolate: the chocolate masters from Perugia will illustrate all the stages of the production of the cocoa, from the origins to the creation of the tablets.
• Meeting for grandparents and grandchildren: a special occasion to live together an unforgettable experience in the world of chocolate.
• Sweet workshops and lounges: moments of learning and fun dedicated to chocolate and traditional sweets from Salerno.
• Show cooking: live performances by the best Italian master chocolatiers, who will reveal the secrets of their art.
• Healthy Snack: the stand with the traditional local bread filled with spreadable cream Giffoni PGI Hazelnut.
• Halloween party for the little ones: children will be able to take part in a special Halloween-themed party, with lots of fun and sweets galore.
• Live shows and street artists performances: music, performances and entertainment to make the atmosphere even more magical.

Practical information

Salerno Very sweet will be held from 31 October at 3 November 2024 on Trieste – Santa Teresa seafront of Salerno. The stands will be open every day from 10: 00 until midnight, offering visitors the chance to immerse themselves in the sweets of Italian tradition in a unique context. The event is organized and realized byItaly Events Association under the patronage of City of Salerno and Chamber of Commerce of Salerno, and is promoted by the CNA.
