Salerno: accident with fatal carom, 46 year old dies and 8 injured

Saturday night tragedy in the municipality of Lair (Salerno). For reasons that investigators have yet to establish, a monstrous road accident occurred around 20.00, involving dozens of cars.

The budget is eight injured and, unfortunately, there is also a victim: Joseph La Greca, 46 years old from Acciaroli, who lost his life in the crash on Cilentana.

The accident, which occurred at the junction of Omignano, according to the first information gathered by the carabinieri, it would have been caused by a spin made by La Greca himself.

It is not yet known whether the 46-year-old has lost control of the vehicle, causing a carom carom that left him no way out, or if he was under the influence of substances.

Immediate arrival of the relief, who as soon as they arrived on the spot, found themselves in front of a terrible scenario, with cars reduced to piles of metal sheets and wounded imprisoned inside them.

Le nine people were immediately transferred toSan Luca di Vallo hospital, but unfortunately for La Greca there was nothing to do, since it is deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital due to serious injuries sustained in the impact.
