From 20 to 29 March 2025, San Carlo Theater of Naples welcomes one of the most intense and disturbing works of the lyrical repertoire: Salome by Richard Strauss. The one-act drama, inspired by the opera by Oscar Wilde, comes to life in a production that promises to be visually and musically overwhelming.

On the podium ofOrchestra of the Teatro di San Carlo, the director Dan Ettinger, already protagonist of Rusalka in the 2024/25 season. The direction is entrusted to Manfred Schweigkofler, with scenography by Nicholas Rubertelli, lights of Claudio Schmid and costumes curated by Daniela Ciancio.
