One Billion Rising is Valentine's flashmob against violence against women. In Naples there will be three events.
Valentine's Day is certainly the feast of lovers, but it should also be considered the feast of Love in a broader sense, especially for oneself as well as for others.
It is for this reason that, for the second time also in Naples, a great flashmob will be organized aimed mainly at emphasizing the importance of respect for the dignity, spirit and body of women. Women who, unfortunately, are increasingly victims of violence and who often fail to defend themselves or even just talk about it.
The One Billion Rising event wants to focus precisely on this theme: "the desire to put an end to the violence inflicted on the body and spirit of women in a new way, by dancing!", As stated by Nico Corradini, of the One coordination Billion Rising Italy.
In Naples, the flashmob will be divided into three events in three different locations: the square of the Court of Naples, Piazza del Plebiscito and Galleria Principe Umberto I. The aim will be to raise awareness on this delicate issue and ensure that women are able to get out from the silence in which they often hide.
A way, therefore, to transform the Valentine's Day of flowers and chocolates "into a day of mobilization in the name of respect, inalienable and inviolable for women". And join the billion (billion) of people in the world who have already descended into the streets and streets to say enough violence against women.
