Sanità Film Festival 2025. Cinema, community and social redemption

From 1st to 5th July 2025 the SàFF – Sanità Film Festival / Social Action Film Festival, the only European social cinema event co-produced with the third sector. After the success of the first edition, the festival doubles: 29 international films selected from over 600 submissions, 50 free events, a network of over 50 strategic partners and the involvement of the major players in global entertainment.

The festival is promoted by Apogee ETS, San Gennaro Community Foundation e Upside Production, with the collaboration of III Municipality and Support from UniCredit, who also signs four masterclasses dedicated to impact finance.

The festival program with films, music and debates

The programming is designed to unite art, culture, education and social inclusionThe films in competition range from documentaries, short films, animations and social storytelling, with a final awards ceremony on July 5th. Also scheduled Evening DJ sets, talks and masterclasses dedicated to the themes of audiovisual and the third sector.

The events will take place in locations full of history and symbolism: the Blue Church of Santa Maria Maddalena ai Cristallini (headquarters), the Stairs of Via dei Cristallini (Blue Carpet), theApogee Music Studio for the section “Views from the world”, and the Cristallini Neighborhood House 73.

A jury of excellence to reward cinema with social impact

The works will be evaluated by a jury of honor led by the critic Valerio Caprara, flanked by leading names in the audiovisual sector such as Luca Miniero, Fabio Massimo Dell'Orco (First Video), Rosary Donated (Confindustria Radio Televisioni) and Fabrizio Minnella (Con il Sud Foundation).

The festival will also welcome celebrities of Italian cinema and culture, among which Peppe Servillo, Cristina Donadio, Luca Miniero, Antonio Capuano, Edoardo De Angelis, Maria Vera Ratti, Maurizio De Giovanni and many others.

Masterclass and training: cinema, economy and third sector

In addition to the films, the SàFF offers six Audiovisual Industry Masterclass made with the leading experts in the sector: from Netflix a Sky Art, Paramount + a FandangoThe meetings are part of the project Audiovisual Naples Hub, designed to offer free training and access to work to young people and professionals.

In parallel, UniCredit is taking care of four Masterclass Social Economy, in collaboration with the University, CSV Naples, Consorzio Meridia, Terzjus, Vertis SGR and ELIS. Objective: to train third sector entities to new financial and managerial strategies.
