Sant'Agnello: "Masterpieces of Symphonic Music" concert tonight at the Belvedere Marinella

Tonight, Tuesday, August 25th, at 9:00 PM, the Belvedere Marinella in Sant'Agnello will host the end-of-summer concert "Masterpieces of Symphonic Music" with the Campania International Orchestra conducted by Maestro Dieter Holzapfel . The event is part of the Municipality's "rEstate Sintonizzati 2026" program , and admission is free.

The evening's program

A 55-piece orchestra will lead the audience on a journey through symphonic music: the program will feature pieces by Rossini, Bizet, Dvorak, Brahms, Giordano , and others, from passionate tones to the most lively and majestic rhythms. Maura Minicozzi will host the evening.

The panoramic terrace of the Belvedere Marinella , overlooking the Gulf of Naples, is an exceptional setting .

Orchestra and conductor

The Campania International Orchestra was founded in Benevento in 2010 and brings together musicians from the five provinces of Campania. It has participated in televised events such as the Easter concert on Rai 2 and has collaborated with artists such as Antonella Ruggiero, Roby Facchinetti, Eugenio Bennato, and Enzo Gragnaniello.

Maestro Dieter Holzapfel , born in Oldenburg, conducted the George Enescu Festival Orchestra and the National Orchestra of Moldova. In 2000, he became President of the German Red Cross, also leading charitable initiatives for Ukrainian refugees.

The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Sant'Agnello and produced by the SCS Società dei Concerti di Sorrento , under the artistic direction of Maestro Paolo Scibilia .
