The dates of return to school for the individual Italian Regions and in Campania the first ringing of the bells is scheduled for 15 September 2021.
After more than a year of distance learning, with sporadic returns to class for face-to-face lessons, the schools will be repopulated with students and teachers and will be followed new anti-Covid rules to ensure that everything runs safely.

The new anti-Covid rules at school
From 1 September it will be mandatory to show the Green Pass for university students only, while in schools there is freedom of choice. Failure to possess the Green Pass will be valid as unjustified absence with salary suspension and, after 5 consecutive days of absence, suspension of the employment relationship with the calling of an alternate. There will also be penalties for employees and school leaders with fines from 400 to 1000 euros.
