The reasons for the strike

The main reason behind the national strike of October 5th is the failure to renew the national collective agreement (CCNL) for local public transport workers. The unions have declared that the absence of a new agreement seriously penalizes the rights of workers, who have long been waiting for better conditions in terms of wages and contractual protections.
