Strike EAV, C.Vesuviana, Cumana, C.Flegrea, Metro Aversa of 28 January 2025
Tuesday 28 January 2025, several trade unions have proclaimed a 4 hour company strike which will affect the activities of EAV Srl and will involve the main transport lines, including bus lines, Vesuvian lines, suburban lines , metro line. The stop, foreseen by the 08: 20 to 12: 20, was called to draw attention to the need to ensure greater safety in the workplace to front-line staff.
During the strike, regular connections will not be guaranteed and the running of the trips will depend on the number of workers who join the initiative.

The reasons and details of the strike
The strike of January 28, 2025, called by the trade unions ORSA FABRIC, FAILURE, Filter Cgil, Fit Cisl, Uiltransport, Ugl self-driving car e Faisa Cisal, was proclaimed on the basis of art. 2 paragraph 7 of L.146/90 and subsequent amendments. The main motivation concerns the conditions of safety in the workplace, with particular attention to front-line staff of EAV Srl which works in daily contact with the public.
To give an idea of the possible impact, here are the percentages of participation in previous strikes called by the same groups:
- 15,5% for the 4-hour strike on October 23, 2024 (ORSA and CONFAIL).
- 10,8% for the 4-hour national strike on November 29, 2024 (CGIL and UIL).
- 42% for the 24-hour national strike on November 8, 2024 (CISL, CISAL and UGL).
