Unfortunately the famous cartoonist Sio will not be a guest of the Comicon, this is the news communicated today by the organizers of the Naples comic and video game fair.
The Italian artist, one of the most anticipated superhosts of the event and one of the most important and famous Italian cartoonists of the last 20 years, contracted Covid-19 and for this reason he will not be able to attend the Comicon.
Simone Albrigi, this is Sio's real name, is the result positive for Coronavirus and by force of circumstances he will have to remain in isolation and will not be able to be present at the meeting with his fans and at the planned signatures.
Scottecs is Sio, the documentary in Italian preview at Comicon
As a consolation, we can say that the documentary “Scottecs è Sio” will also be screened at the Auditorium of the Mostra d'Oltremare, even if not in the presence of Sio.
We will be able to discover the curiosities of his artistic career and his personal life, as well as what brought him closer to the world of comics and the many collaborations he has made over the years.
Sio's exhibition at Comicon
At the Comicon, in the section dedicated to exhibitions, there is also the one dedicated to Sio and entitled "MEGAEVVIVASHONEN SHOW, Sio is the new Italian humorous comic"" That can be admired among the many exhibitions scheduled.
