So it is (or I think) at the Teatro Nuovo in Naples, Elio Germano reinvents Pirandello with virtual reality

Elio Germano

From Wednesday 3 to Sunday 7 November 2021, New Theater of Napoli, there will be a special appointment with the show by Elio Germano, So it is (or I think).

The work of the great Luigi Pirandello will be rewritten and adapted for the occasion, by the Roman artist, to the virtual reality. The show will be directed by Elio Germano himself, who will be joined by Gaetano Bruno, Serena Barone, Michele Sinisi, Fabrizio Careddu, Davide Grillo and others.

The show and virtual reality

The story, rewritten by Elio Germano, speaks of Mr. Ponza and Mrs. Frola, that is a son-in-law and a mother-in-law who tell different versions of the same story, for which the citizens of the village no longer know who to believe and set out in search of truth.

The spectators will be totally involved in the show, in fact once they arrive in the hall they will be equipped with a virtual reality viewer together with audio headphones. As soon as the vision starts, they will be involved on stage in the body of a character of the pièce.

It will be possible to choose where to turn their gaze, therefore they will have the special possibility of being spectators and characters at the same time.
