The EAV (Volturno Autonomous Body) announced that the railway line Soccavo – Monte Sant'Angelo will be closed to traffic from 3 to 31 August 2026A total suspension of service, announced on the company's official website, to allow for maintenance work on the line.
The route, which connects the district of soccavo with the university campus of Monte Sant'Angelo, is used daily by students, faculty, and residents. The summer closure, although traditionally during a quieter time of year, will cause inconvenience to summer students and local residents.
