For the 2018 summer in Sorrento many encounters between music, dance, art and tradition with the “Sorrento Incontra” events.
16 from July to August 30 2018 in Sorrento, 20 international and multidisciplinary events will take place as part of the "Sorrento meets - The light of places"Which aims to unite the tradition of the past with the artistic forms of the present. Among the very suggestive places that will frame the events are: the Cloister and the Church of San Francesco, the Villa Comunale and the Old Town.
The events were promoted by the Municipality of Sorrento, in collaboration with the Sorrento Foundation and the Federalberghi Penisola Sorrentina, and organized by Arealive together with PdArtmedia with the general artistic direction of the director and choreographer Mvula Sungani. Many new and previewed artistic events for this event which includes a full schedule of high profile events that will take place for the whole city.
