The actor Ascanio Celestini will enchant the Neapolitan public with his “Discourses to the Nation” at the Teatro Nuovo
From The 15 19 April 2015, the actor, director and writer Ascanio Celestini will be staged at New Theater of Naples, with the show "Speeches to the Nation".
The Roman artist, known for his storytelling theater, will involve the public in a captivating show of desecration on today's society and on the real essence of the Italian political class, eliminating its fiction.
This is a deep research, with which Celestini analyzes social, political and daily languages, highlighting the serious crisis in which they are today. In particular, the show is divided into 4 monologues set in a condominium, in which there will be power games and exasperated class wars, just like in present-day Italy.
Finally, to close the speech will be the tyrant, the only one capable of solving the problems of the community while remaining distant and disinterested. A solution this, paid dearly where "the only chance to survive for a small fish is to become a parasite of big fish, eat leftovers from its meal and in return to spice up its fin", As the artist plays in the final bars.
