General States of Culture 2025, Naples at the center of the national debate
On June 13 and 14, 2025, Naples becomes the capital of the national cultural debate thanks to the General States of Culture – Campania. The initiative is promoted by the Campania Region, with the support of Scabec and in collaboration with Il Sole 24 Ore , and is proposed as a place of strategic comparison between culture, economy and territorial development. A concrete opportunity to discuss the future of cultural policies in Italy, placing the role of Campania and its resources at the centre of the national panorama.
The event is divided into two symbolic locations: the Teatro Bellini, which will host the plenary sessions, and theAcademy of Fine Arts of Naples, where the thematic tables will be held. The works will focus on the value of culture as a driving force of identity, innovation and economic growth, and will offer a valuable opportunity for administrators, cultural operators and public and private stakeholders.

La Opening day Friday 13th June will be curated by Il Sole 24 Ore and will be dedicated to panels and meetings on cultural policies, innovation in the sector, the synergies between public and private and the enhancement of the artistic and landscape heritage.
