ANM has published a official announcement in which he announces a long suspension of some tram lines of Naples. The stop will last one month and will start on Thursday August 4, 2022 to end September 12, 2022.
Specifically, the blocked sections will be the Line 1 (Piazza Municipio-Poggioreale) and the Line 2 (San Giovanni-Piazza Nazionale). The reason for the stop concerns the extraordinary maintenance activities to the tram network on Corso Garibaldi. THE jobs they will be carried out in the stretch from Piazza Guglielmo Pepe up to the height of the Circumvesuviana station and consequently the lines will not be able to circulate freely.
Alternatives to the Tram lines 1 and 2 of ANM
Un disservice which could affect many Neapolitan citizens who use these means of transport on a daily basis ANM. For this reason the transport company has listed alternatives to tram lines 1 and 2:
• On the Hemicycle Poggioreale - Piazza Garibaldi section: line 169 which for the occasion extends the route from piazza Nazionale to piazza Garibaldi;
• On the Piazza Garibaldi - p. City Hall: lines 151 and R2;
• On the via Colombo - via Marina - San Giovanni section: Tramway line 4;
• On the San Giovanni - Piazza Garibaldi section: lines 195 and 254.
