The great appreciation got from “The Story of a Good Family”, a work produced by Matteo Levi and 11 Marzo Film, led to official confirmation of a second season. The events related to the De Santis family will continue, as announced via an Instagram post on the official page of Here Mediaset.
The news of the start of shooting for the second season goes back toon May 18, 2023. Among the actors who will be present in the new cycle of episodes there are Giuseppe Zeno, Simona Cavallari e Federica Torchetti. As for the first season, Stefano Reali will be directing.
Advances on the plot
The series, as explained by the author Eleonora Fiorini and by the director Stefano Reali, is based on the book by Rosa Ventrella and on the historical events of our country. The narrative focuses on the years eighty and ninety, periods that have seen crucial events such as the death of Falcone, the fall of Berlin Wall, the landing of the Vlora ship in Bari.
According to what was reported in the Instagram post of Qui Mediaset, in the second season the De Santis family will continue to fight against injustices in Bari in the early nineties. Expect a series of twists, including the arrival of a young man with a dark past and the entry of a new family of criminals who will try to take control.

When does the second season come out?
Mediaset has included the second season of "Storia di una famiglia perbene" in its autumn 2023 schedule, this means that the series should come out between September and November 2023.
