Roads closed for Pino Daniele concert in Naples March 19. Traffic device

On the occasion of the tribute concert to Pino Daniele, to be held on 19 March 2025 in piazza del Gesù, City of Naples has prepared an extraordinary plan of traffic regulationThe measures will be in force from Monday 17th March to Thursday 20th March, to allow for the set-up, running of the event and dismantling of the stage.

Which roads are closed to traffic?

During the four days of closure, the following restrictions will be in effect:

• Prohibition of vehicular transit in piazza del Gesù, except:
  • Rescue and emergency vehicles.
  • Law enforcement vehicles.
  • Residents, with access permitted through via Dominic Capitelli e via Cisterna dell'Olio.
• Stopping and parking prohibited throughout the affected area, with forced removal of vehicles.

What changes for taxis and public transport?

To ensure an orderly flow of public and private transport, the following changes have been made:

• Suspension of taxi stalls in piazza del Gesù e temporary transfer to via Monteoliveto.
• Suspension of reserved parking areas:
  • Parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • Loading and unloading areas.
• Bus stop relocation da Jesus Square and Monteoliveto Street, Near the Faculty of Architecture of the University Federico II.

What are the recommended alternative routes?

To avoid inconvenience and easily reach the event area, we recommend using:

• Metro Line 1: get off at the stop Dante Alighieri or, alternatively, to University (Piazza Bovio).
• Pedestrian routes: those who are in the historic center can easily reach the square on foot.
• Taxis and buses: available at collection points Dante Square, Monteoliveto Street and Bovio Square.

When will normal traffic return?

Traffic and parking restrictions will be in place until ceased requirements, but the plan includes the reopening of ordinary roads Thursday March 20 2025, after the dismantling of the structures used for the concert.
