Al Museum of the Subsoil of Napoli, located in Piazza Cavour, tomorrow 14 June an evocative and magical show will be staged in the name of theater, dance and circus evolutions.

Between vaults in the air, almost as if the force of gravity did not exist, complex suspended choreographies that seem to be performed almost effortlessly, the show will be staged StralunAria, brought on stage by the company of theater and aerial dance ImmaginAria, led by Viola Russo, who curates direction and choreography.

StralunAria is loosely based on the first fantastic feature film in the history of cinema, George Méliès's masterpiece Voyage dans la lune, Namely Journey to the Moon, made in the 1902, a parody based on the novel by Jules Verne From the Earth to the Moon.

In an atmosphere suspended between reality and imagination, between playful and funny movements, physical commitment and lightness of the bodies, the viewer's eye will be continually surprised by 21 girls, students of the laboratory of circus aerial disciplines conducted by Russo herself at Asylum Anteatro ai Vergini, who will literally climb on the stretch lycra fabrics and will use a metal circle to perform their acrobatic evolutions in mid-air, between heaven and earth, transmitting, with your body, emotions.

The laboratory manager states: "These are disciplines that allow one to overcome one's own self-limiting beliefs, to overcome fears and to assume a greater awareness of one's own body".
