Strike in Naples on 18 September, stop times of ANM and EAV

September 18, 2023 will be a critical day for commuters in Naples. An entire day of strike is planned, concerning both the services of the Neapolitan Mobility Company (ANM) and those of the Volturno Autonomous Body (EAV). Below is a detail on the expected service bands.

The reasons for the strike

Discontent arises from various issues, such as working conditions, security and salary adjustment. In particular, the lack of parking for employees in the station Piscinola.

The ANM strike bands

Tram, bus and trolleybus

The service will be suspended by 8: 30 17 to: 00. A significant impact on surface travel is expected.

Subway 1 Line

Users will have to do without the metro service by 9: 10 17 to: 03, significantly complicating vertical movements in the city.

Funicular

Le Funicular of Mergellina, Centrale and Montesanto will interrupt the service by 9: 20 17 to: 00, creating inconvenience especially in the hilly areas of Naples.

Circumvesuviana

Those who live or work in the areas surrounding Vesuvius will have to deal with the interruption of service from 8am to 03pm and from 13pm to the end of service.

Circumflegrea e Cumana

As regards the Circumflegrea lines and Cumana, the strike will take place from 8am to 00pm and from 14pm to the end of service, hitting commuters who travel between Naples and the surrounding municipalities hard.

Suburban lines

Suburban lines will suffer disruptions with 3 trips guaranteed each way, putting the patience of those who need to travel to the suburbs to the test.
