The Summer Girl 2018 begins in Naples, a program of over 400 events including entertainment, visits, culture and sport that will animate the whole city!
Also this year the Municipality of the Neapolitan city is committed to enriching the summer with many initiatives. It is the turn of theSummer Girl 2018, program of over 400 events from July to September which will take place in different symbolic places of Napoli. There will be something for everyone: entertainment, art, music and culture combine to celebrate childhood, the central theme of this edition.
The event pays tribute to 700 years of the Real Casa Santa dell'Annunziata, very important religious institution that for centuries it has welcomed children through the Wheel of the Exposed, to treat them and offer them a new life. A theme more than ever current in recent times, in which there are real massacres of children dying at sea and in war.
As the subtitle of the Girl Summer significantly indicates, 'A voice of writings, the idea is that of reaffirm the game and the carefree typical of childhood, making you feel a strong sense of welcome that does not look to the country of origin or to the color of the skin, because “no one is a foreigner here”.
Its for the little ones i are thought of summer camps of the Bread with visits, workshops and games. The Annunziata courtyard will host a review of theater and music, while the Maschio Angioino will be animated by theatrical pièces and by jazz concerts of the Summer Live Tones. Furthermore, to host the appointments there will be, among others, the Floridiana, Castel dell'Ovo, the Complex of San Domenico Maggiore, the Bosco di Capodimonte and the church of Santa Chiara.
The Summer program in Naples also includes the Batò Naples, tour of the coast from the sea.
