Naples Ring Road: The Fuorigrotta exit for the Napoli-Juventus route closes.
On the occasion of the match Naples–Juventus, scheduled for Sunday 7 December 2025 at 8.45pm, the Prefecture of Naples has ordered the Temporary closure of the Fuorigrotta junction of the ring road, in both directions. The measure, adopted at the end of the meeting of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety, is aimed at preventing congestion and critical issues related to the large influx of traffic expected in the area of the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. The junction will close at 21:45 and will remain inaccessible until ceased requirements.
Roads and recommended exits
With the closure of the Fuorigrotta junction, traffic will undergo significant changes:
- For vehicles coming from Pozzuoli e Capodichino, the recommended exit is Agnano.
- The ring road will remain passable, but it will not be possible to enter or exit Fuorigrotta.
The decision was made in anticipation of the significant influx of fans and the resulting risk of traffic blockages in the area surrounding the Maradona.
Expectations and a climate of great challenge
The match is not only a major event from a sporting point of view: it also represents the first cross between opponents at Maradona between Luciano Spalletti e Antonio Conte, two central figures in the recent histories of the two teams. The match comes with the two teams sitting at the top of the table, separated by just five points, further fueling anticipation and the historic rivalry between Napoli and Juventus.
Metro Line 2: 15 additional journeys after the match
To facilitate the flow of fans, Trenitalia has foreseen a strengthening of the 2 Line of the Metro 15 extraordinary races:
- 11 trains from Naples Campi Flegrei towards San Giovanni–Barra.
- 4 trains towards Pozzuoli.
In total they will be available over 7.300 additional seats.
Operational instructions provided by Trenitalia:
- Recommended buy your ticket in advance to avoid queues.
- In the stations of Piazza Garibaldi e Campi Flegrei there will be leaders of Customer Service e FS Security.
- Access to trains will be permitted only to passengers with regular ticket, with controlled routing to the docks.
Also noteworthy:
- Piazza Leopardi station closed from 22:30 PM.
- The Campi Flegrei ticket office will be open until the end of the event..
