In Naples, the Memus, the Museum and Historical Archive of the San Carlo Theater reopens, to discover the history of this extraordinary place!

The visits are suspended due to the provisions of the last Prime Minister's Decree.

In Naples another incredible novelty, starting from 30 October 2020 it will be reopened for visits on Memus, The Museum and Historical Archive of the Extraordinary San Carlo Theater. 

The visits will take place in full compliance with the anti-Covid 19 rules to ensure full safety for all guests, who, for the occasion, will be welcomed by characters from the opera Adriana Lecouvreur by Francesco Cilea. These will be dressed up with precious handmade dresses of pure silk taffeta with inlays and inserts.

Visits to the Memus del San Carlo

An opportunity not to be missed to visit this extraordinary place which will be open every day, except Wednesdays, and tours will be available in Italian, English and French. 

The Memus (Music and Memory) is the Museum and Historical Archive of the Theater and is a special place where the history of the San Carlo Theater in Naples is told, open to the public from well 274 years and of all the works staged in recent years.

You can then visit the Memus, organized on two levels with virtual galleries, interactive touchscreen lecterns for consulting and listening to music titles and much more.

  • From Monday to Saturday from 10: 00 to 17: 30

  • Sunday from 10: 00 to 14: 30
