The Golden Globes, after two very difficult years due to the pandemic, are back in full glory for the 2023 edition. Here are the winners who have conquered the coveted awards in the fields of cinema, television and the world of entertainment.
The 2023 edition of the Golden Globes closed a few hours ago , which saw the triumph of The Fabelmans , the semi-autobiographical film about the life of Steven Spielberg , and The Spirits of the Island , the tragicomic feature film by Martin McDonagh.
An edition that has the flavor of a rebirth, not only because it was the first to be staged "in a conventional way" after the two very difficult years caused by the Covid-19 pandemic , but also the first with a new voting system and designed to rehabilitate the Hollywood Foreign Press Association after the scandals of the 2022 edition.
Golden Globes, among the TV series triumphs “House of the Dragon”
Among the TV series, the most successful were House of the Dragon , the prequel to The Game of Thrones , which tells the story of the fall of House Targaryen one hundred and fifty years before the events of the original series, and Abbott Elementary , a TV series that can be seen in Italy on DisneyPlus.
And there is also a bit of our Peninsula at the 2023 Golden Globes because the award for best miniseries went to The White Lotus , produced by HBO and whose second season was set inside a luxury resort in Sicily.
