"The girl and the officer“, a new TV series of Turkish origin, is ready to conquer the Italian public. This fascinating story set in the turbulent period of the Second World War will be broadcast on Channel 5 starting from 9 June 2023. This drama focuses on the interconnected lives of Kurt Seyit, a Turkish officer loyal to the Tsar of Russia, e Shura, the youngest of a distinguished Russian noble family.
The plot of The Girl and the Officer
The protagonist, Kurt Seyit, is the eldest son of a respected Crimean Turkish family, famous for being one of the most able officers in the Tsar's service. In reverse, Shura represents the youngest member of an illustrious Russian lineage. The meeting between the two takes place during a social event, giving life to a burning passion that flows into an intense love. However, their relationship is destined to go through countless tribulations, including the opposition of their respective families and the explosion of the world war, which requires the military employment of Kurt.
Plot of the first episode
The debut of the series takes us to a sophisticated ball in St. Petersburg, the scene of the encounter between two markedly different existences. Kurt Seyit, the attractive Turkish officer, meets the gaze of Shura, the young and radiant Russian heiress. In this magical moment, their hearts are irrevocably drawn, generating a whirlwind of deep feelings and emotions.
