The Girl and the Officer Change Day, that's when it airs

The popular Turkish TV show “The Girl and the Officer” is about to undergo substantial changes to its broadcast schedule on Channel 5. Usually the drama is broadcast every Friday evening, but something is about to change and you will no longer find this evening on Friday evening, but on Sunday.

When does “The Girl and the Officer” air? It moves on Sunday

Starting August 6, 2023 , viewers of "The Girl and the Officer" will have to update their schedules. The series, previously scheduled for Fridays, will still air with three episodes per night.

Episodes 25, 26 and 27 will be shown on Friday 4 August , while episodes 28, 29 and 30 will be broadcast on Sunday 6 August . After this marathon, the series will continue to be broadcast on Canale 5 for the entire month of August , always and only on Sundays, with the conclusion scheduled for the beginning of September.

How come it was changed by day

No detailed information was provided on the exact reason for the broadcast day change. However, it's clear that Canale 5 is trying to adapt its programming to meet audience needs.

The double bill could be an attempt to revive interest in the series or to accommodate other changes in the schedule.

The choice to move the broadcast to August 6th may also have been driven by the introduction of a new show, “Terra Amara”, scheduled for prime time on Sundays starting September 10th.
