Seyit , despite being uncomfortable with hiding Alya , who shares many memories with Şura , in Emine Hanım 's house , sees no other options. The next morning, British occupation forces begin hunting Alya , accusing her of being Captain Billy 's killer.

They interrogate the people in the hotel , suspecting them of protecting Alya and taking Sabri hostage , threatening to punish him if they don't hand over Alya . While all this is happening, Seyit secretly takes the injured Celil to the laundry room. Upon learning that Sabri has been arrested, Seyit organizes a rescue plan.

On the night of the operation, Celil is left alone in the laundry room. Meanwhile, Güzide , unable to stay away from Celil , whom she hasn't seen for weeks, learns that he's just a few steps away. Meanwhile, Mürvet struggles with the image of Şura in her mind.

Seyit kills Petro

After a long nighttime stroll through the city streets, Seyit returns to the lodge, an attempt to ease the pain left by Sura's abandonment. Murvet welcomes him, having been forced to abandon her home in a hurry following the military's search of every house to locate Alya . She is eventually found at the dock, where Yaver promptly takes her to Petro.

But Seyit, now aware of the barbarities perpetrated by his old companion, designs a plan to locate his refuge. Once found, Seyit frees Alya, kills Petro very violently.

Meanwhile, Guzide , assuming that Yahya has left for Ankara, suggests that Celil escape together. Unexpectedly, Yahya appears and, distraught, commits suicide in front of them.

The series ends with Turkey having become a republic, having definitively repelled the English forces. Celil and Guzide decide to settle in Asmaya, where they will later cross paths again with Mahmut , who, with the complicity of his wife Murvet, gives Seyit a grand and joyful surprise.
