Episode 1 Plot: “Lies”

In the first episode, entitled “Bugie”, the narrative resumes three years after the events of the previous season. Arthur, despite his commitment to his musical career which often takes him to London, he created a family together with Lea e Martina. On the contrary, the relationship between Marco e Anna is going through a difficult period, particularly in managing shared custody of their daughter Gioia. The tensions in this family are accentuated by the arrival of Nicola, Anna's new partner.

During the episode, a car accident casts shadows on the lives of the main characters. Martina and her friend Wolf they are involved in an accident while riding a scooter, an event that turns out to have unexpected consequences. The car that causes the accident is driven by Sofia Mereu, a young babysitter traveling with her little girl Camilla . Although Martina emerges unharmed, the accident raises many questions: why was she on a scooter and why did she lie to Lea and Arturo about where she was going?

People Valeria Maestro begins investigating what happened, immediately establishing a good relationship with Marco. The situation becomes complicated when Camilla, although she did not suffer serious damage in the accident, does not wake up. The babysitter Sofia provides versions of the facts that appear unconvincing, increasing the mystery of the evening of the accident.

Meanwhile, Martina receives mysterious messages from the person she was supposed to meet, bringing to light further questions: what is she hiding and what secret does this missed meeting hide?

Plot of episode 2: “Truth”

The episode opens with Valeria, the police officer, who invites Marco out, suggesting the beginning of a possible relationship between the two. Meanwhile, the hospital becomes the scene of new developments: a team of pediatricians takes care of Filippo, a boy showing symptoms of food poisoning. This medical case turns out to be a puzzle for the hospital staff to solve.

At the same time, the plot intensifies as the story evolves secret correspondence between Martina and an anonymous sender. Lea, however, is not convinced by the version of events given by Martina regarding the evening of the accident and begins to have doubts.

The car accident investigation takes a turn when it emerges that Sofia, Camilla's babysitter, was responsible for the accident. Sofia provides contradictory answers about the evening of the accident, adding to the mystery around where she was really headed and why Camilla is still struggling to recover.

Elsewhere, we witness a happy moment when Pietro asks Michela to marry him and she accepts with enthusiasm. The arrival of Bruno Linda, a new nurse, attracts the attention and curiosity of her colleagues, while Olga faces another disappointment in love.

In London, Arturo collaborates with Emma Ronchi, a music producer, and there seems to be a strong chemistry between them. Nonetheless, it is the interweaving of personal stories in Ferrara that captures attention, particularly when Lea discovers that Martina was planning to meet her supposed biological mother the day of the accident.

Plot of Episode 3: “Discoveries”

The main focus of the episode is on the discoveries concerning Martina and her presumed biological mother. Lea, worried and curious, confronts Martina about the missed meeting with this mysterious figure. Tension increases when Lea shares her discoveries with Arturo, who appears hesitant when faced with the possibility that Martina's alleged mother is not who she says she is.

In the meantime, Pietro and Michela, happy with their recent engagement, propose to Lea and Marco to be their wedding witnesses, adding a touch of lightness and joy to the narrative.

In parallel, the plot is enriched with Anna's story, who announces that he wants to attend a refresher course outside Ferrara, and of Marco and Valeria, whose relationship deepens further when they end up in bed together.

Another interesting twist occurs with Bruno's introduction, the new nurse, whose behavior arouses curiosity and suspicion, particularly when he begins to avoid his professional duties.

Episode Plot Episode 4: “Trust”

In the fourth episode, entitled “Trust”, the plot continues by exploring the challenges and complex relationships between the characters.

The episode opens with Anna who leaves for a refresher course, leaving Marco alone to manage the responsibilities of a father with his daughter Gioia. This situation highlights Marco's difficulties in balancing work and paternal duties, adding a further level of complexity to his character.

Meanwhile, Sofia, the babysitter involved in the car accident, is placed under house arrest. During the episode, a worrying diagnosis emerges for the little girl Camilla : Wilson's disease, a rare disease that affects the liver.

Added to this is another significant development: Jacopo, a friend of Martina, presents symptoms of what appears to be a panic attack, and is entrusted to the care of the hospital ward.

The mother of Pietro he actively engages in the preparations for his son and Michela's wedding, despite Pietro's disapproval. This family dynamic adds a touch of humor and realism to the story.

Plot of Episode 5: “Choices”

The main focus of the episode is on the little girl Camilla , whose health is at the center of concern. Doctors evaluate the need for a liver transplantation, and it turns out that Sofia, the babysitter involved in the accident and Camilla's biological mother, is the perfect candidate for the donation. Sofia immediately agrees to undergo the operation, highlighting a strong sense of responsibility and affection towards her daughter.

In the meantime, Arthur, overwhelmed by guilt for his past behavior, makes the decision to return to Italy from Lea e Martina. This move places new dynamics in their already complex relationship.

Another interesting development concerns Olga, which, seeing Spark e Bruno interact in a friendly way, he begins to feel jealous. This leads to tense moments and intriguing relationship dynamics within the hospital.

Jacopo, another key character, returns to the hospital and receives a diagnosis of mitral regurgitation, adding another layer of complexity to the series' medical plot.

Bruno finds himself in a difficult situation when a former university colleague of his, Gianni, starts blackmailing him. This development adds mystery and tension around Bruno's character, raising questions about his past and the kind of trouble he's gotten himself into.

In this episode, the series delves into the complex emotional and relational dynamics of its characters, focusing in particular on the story of Lea and Arturo. The tension arises from the consequences of the choices made in the past by both, which are now reflected in the present.

Lea is deeply affected by Arturo's behavior, and their relationship seems to have reached a critical point. In the meantime, Valeria, the police officer introduced in previous episodes, suffers an injury and was operated on at the Estense Hospital.
