The title of the TV movie is inspired by the nickname given to Giulia Spizzichino by her family. A Roman Jew, Giulia was marked by the deportations and the massacre of the Fosse Ardeatine, events that took away 26 of her relatives. The story focuses on her life and the journey that led her to Argentina in 1994, seeking justice against Erich Priebke, one of the architects of the massacre.

Giulia faces a past that has never abandoned her, unexpectedly finding a special strength thanks to the encounter with the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, the mothers of the Argentine desaparecidos. This bond will give her the courage to testify during the Priebke trial, carrying on the memory and the fight for the truth.
