M – Son of the Century Episode 3 Spoilers

The episodes of “M – The Son of the Century”, on air from January 17th on Sky and streaming up NOW, will continue the story of Benito Mussolini's rise to power. After having seen the early years of the fascism, from the foundation of the Fasci di Combattimento to his entry into Parliament, we will witness a decisive phase for his political strategy. Mussolini will present himself as the only one capable of restore order in a country divided by clashes and violence.

His tactic will be to foment further unrest, destabilize institutions and, at the same time, offer himself as the leader capable of calming tensions. But when it comes to actually stopping the violence, he will have to face opposition from the same black shirts, ready to rebel against attempts at containment and, above all, against attempts at peace with the Socialists (purely formal).

The narration will culminate with the story of the events that led to the march on Rome, a crucial event that marked the beginning of the fascist regime.

The episode will shed light on the relationship between Mussolini, his movement and the institutions in crisis and will end with the death of one of the comrades that will result in a sea of violence. A problem for Mussolini.
