Elsbeth Tascioni, played by Carrie Preston, is an extravagant, insightful and uncommonly talented lawyer. After years of success in Chicago, moves to New York, where he begins to collaborate with the local police to solve complex cases. Officially, his task is to monitor the work of the police force on behalf of the Justice Department, but actually has a second goal: investigate the possible corruption of Captain C.W. Wagner.
Each episode sees Elsbeth faces a new case, using his eccentric and unconventional approach to unmask the culprits. With a mix of irony, brilliant intuitions and brilliant dialogues, the series promises to conquer the Italian public.
