Stefano De Martino answers about the future of Stasera tutto. Will he still host the program?

The air you breathe around Stephen DeMartino is that of an imminent change. After a record-breaking season at the helm of Your business, the Neapolitan presenter remains at the centre of media attention also due to the fate of another format linked to him: Everything is possible tonight. Fans continue to wonder if the Rai 2 game show will return to the air and, above all, if De Martino will still be the face of the program. In a climate of rumors and hypotheses, the host's recent statements have only fueled interest.
Interviewed during the presentation of Giovanni Esposito's film, De Martino confirmed that the show remains in the hearts of many and that his return is not excluded. But in the meantime, Rai seems to be banking on new ambitious projects for him, ready to take off in prime time.
Stefano De Martino will host the next Tonight everything is possible?
When asked whether or not he will return to host the famous Rai 2 comedy show, De Martino responded with one of his ironic jokes: "Posterity will judge". A sentence that suggests that nothing has been officially decided yet. In front of the journalists of SuperGuida TV, he added that every day he is forced to answer the fans of the program who ask him why he stopped. His answer: «We just finished, there's time».
An answer that is anything but definitive. Rumors in fact speak of a possible move of the show to Rai 1 or a reconfirmation on Rai 2 with a new host. In any case, the uncertainty remains. What is certain is that, despite being very attached to the project, De Martino today has a prime time profile on Rai 1 that could push him to choose other paths.
Tonight Everything Is Possible will it continue without him?
The format of Everything is possible tonight has built a solid fan base over the years, thanks in part to De Martino's energy and humor. But the possibility of his exit might not mean the end of the show.
In Rai circles there have been rumours for some time about the possibility of a new management, which could bring freshness to the program while maintaining its light and transversal identity. The alternative is that the format is temporarily suspended to make room for new productions. What is clear is that Rai 2 cannot afford to completely lose a recognizable brand like STEP, capable of attracting young audiences and families.
Stefano De Martino's new program
In parallel with the rumours about the future of STEP, the hypothesis of a new prime time show on Rai 1 starring Stefano De Martino himself. According to the previews, it would be an ambitious project to be launched in the next television season, with a potential exceptional partner: Gianni Morandi.
The idea was apparently born after the shared experience in the Christmas show “Una cena per Natale” hosted by Antonella Clerici. Rai is apparently thinking about an original format capable of combining entertainment, music and moments of pure spectacle, with the Morandi-De Martino duo at the center of the scene. The Neapolitan host, fresh from a triumphant year with record-breaking audience ratings, confirms himself as one of the most solid and versatile faces of the Rai schedule.
The official announcement could come already at the end of June, on the occasion of the presentation of the new schedules. Until then, every decision remains unofficial, but everything suggests a passing of the baton: from Rai 2 to Rai 1, from STEP to a new national show.
