Makari 3, how does it end? Summary of the last episode

The last episode of the Makari Season 3, Entitled The secret alchemy, takes Saverio Lamanna away from his investigative routine. After the breakup with Suleima, the protagonist is convinced by Peppe to take a break at a spa. The idea hides an ulterior motive: bring the two exes closer together. Suleima and Azrah, in fact, also reach the facility thanks to a plan hatched by Peppe.
The trip, which was supposed to be relaxing, soon turns into an investigation. The owner of the center, Carolina Tower, is found in a coma following an attack. Saverio begins to investigate and discovers a network of scams and hidden truths. The Mayor of Spinalba e Daniel Rizzo, Carolina's husband, had planned a fraud based on funds destined for the center, declaring elderly people who had already died as alive.
Who is the culprit and what is the motive?
Behind the attack lies Thomas Lentini, widower of Anna Pennese. Two years earlier, Carolina had underestimated the young woman's symptoms, leading to her death from causes not diagnosed in time. Lentini, still consumed by grief, takes revenge by attacking Carolina. The case ends with an admission of guilt and with the awareness, for Saverio, that even those who investigate carry the wounds of others.
What future do Saverio and Suleima have?
The relationship between the two protagonists undergoes new oscillations. Feelings emerge during a wedding hosted in the spa, where the two dance together and seem to find a balance. But the shadow of the departure for Seoul Giulio looms over Suleima. They will be Peppe and Saverio's father to make her understand, with affection, the importance of true relationships. In the end, Suleima decides to stay and give their story another chance.
The third chapter ends with a perfect synthesis between yellow and sentiment. The writing maintains familiar and melancholic tones, without forcing happy endings but leaving room for the characters' growth. Saverio remains a protagonist suspended between the past and the present, between cynicism and passion. Suleima's return does not close a circle, but opens another. And the wait for Makar 4 it has already begun.
