John Cena returns to Netflix with a new comedy that promises to make you laugh and surprise: “Little Brother” , directed by Matt Spicer, will arrive on the streaming platform on June 26, 2026.
The film, produced by Middle Child Pictures with David Bernad and Ruben Fleischer, stars John Cena as Rudd, a successful real estate agent with a seemingly perfect life. Everything gets complicated when Marcus Pinchel, played by an explosive Eric André , his former "little brother" from a mentoring program, comes crashing into his life and turns his daily life upside down.
The two leads are joined by a talented cast: Michelle Monaghan , Christopher Meloni , Ego Nwodim , Sherry Cola , and Caleb Hearon . The screenplay is by Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel, already known for their brilliant writing.
The film had its world premiere on June 18 at the Paris Theater in Manhattan, receiving enthusiastic initial reactions. Cena, in an interview with People, revealed that he had shown an unexpected side: "More vulnerable and dramatic," he said, for a comedy that blends laughter and heart.
“Little Brother” joins Netflix’s rich catalog of new releases at the end of June, confirming the platform’s desire to focus on ensemble comedies with high-quality casts.
