What the series is about?
Reuben Feffer (Ben Stiller), a methodical and cautious insurance risk analyst, sees his perfectly planned life unravel when he discovers his young wife, Lisa (Debra Messing), cheating on him during their honeymoon with a scuba diving instructor. Devastated, Reuben finds himself alone and mired in an existential crisis.
In his desperation, he accidentally meets Polly Prince (Jennifer Aniston), a free-spirited, impulsive, and completely opposite old schoolmate. As the two reconnect, Reuben will have to confront his fears and a series of increasingly unpredictable and out-of-control situations. Between volleyball games with a blind friend (Vince Vaughn), outings with a decidedly "alternative" new partner, and exotic dinners featuring spicy foods, Reuben will discover that sometimes in life it's worth taking a few risks.
