Beautiful 2/8: Brooke doesn't trust Taylor, is she lying?

Brooke overwhelmed by the truth about Taylor

After yesterday's attack, Brooke was overwhelmed by the truth she discovered: Taylor confessed to her that she was ill and that she had returned to Los Angeles believing her life was in danger, ready to spend her last moments with her family.

The doctor explained that she hadn't wanted to say anything, but was forced to do so when Ridge found her passed out on the floor. She also explained that Forrester decided to stay by her side and helped her with a chakra alignment practice, the very thing Brooke saw from the window. Taylor stated that she had no ill intentions and that she hadn't come back to win the designer back.

Brooke doesn't know whether to believe Taylor.

Brooke hears the entire confession and is completely shocked. On the one hand, she's worried about the doctor, on the other, she doesn't know whether to believe her: was what she saw between her and Ridge really just a moment of healing connection, or is there something more?

After years of battles, there's a modicum of concern, but Brooke returns home with a big question mark on her mind: is Taylor faking illness? And if she really is, who can guarantee she's not using it as an excuse to get her ex-husband back? The blonde will try to calm down and wait for Ridge's return, hoping a face-to-face meeting can clarify the situation.

Ridge reveals Taylor's illness to Eric

Eric is also concerned about Ridge's strange behavior, as he's spending too much time with his ex-wife. The patriarch will question him, and Ridge will find the opportunity to tell him that he helped Taylor, who was in great distress and convinced she was dying.

Eric will be stunned, like Brooke, and will hope that everything will work out and that the return of Hayes, now recovered, will not complicate things in the family.
