Djokovic: The Winter Wolf from August 20 on Prime

From August 20, 2026 , "Novak Djokovic: Winter Wolf," the documentary chronicling the extraordinary journey of the greatest tennis player of all time, will arrive exclusively on Prime Video. The platform unveiled the official trailer and poster in mid-July.

An unprecedented portrait

Directed by Jason Hehir and produced by Words + Pictures, the documentary explores what drives a unique athlete, revealing the hidden facets of a man forged under extraordinary circumstances. Born in war-torn Serbia , Djokovic grew up amid conflict and economic hardship, while his family made great sacrifices to support his tennis career.

When he entered the professional scene, he wasn't welcomed with open arms: he was perceived as an intruder ready to upset the beloved rivalry between Federer and Nadal . Frank, passionate, and unfiltered, he openly displayed every emotion, and his intensity sometimes put him at odds with the crowd.

Records and exclusive interviews

With 24 Grand Slam titles (the most in men's tennis history), over 1.100 career singles victories , an Olympic gold medal, and a record 428 weeks at No. 1 in the world rankings, Djokovic has rewritten the record books. Yet he remains one of the most complex and polarizing figures in modern sport.

With exclusive behind-the-scenes access at major tournaments, his intense training schedule, and intimate moments at home with his family, the documentary offers a revealing glimpse into the Serbian champion's world. Interviewees include Djokovic himself and his wife Jelena , as well as Rafael Nadal , Andre Agassi , Pete Sampras , Boris Becker , and Jim Courier , along with numerous sports journalists.

“Novak Djokovic: Winter Wolf” will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide starting August 20 .
