Far Away: Fikriye, Alya's real mother, arrives

A new twist for Far Away , the Turkish soap opera broadcast on Canale 5. In the next episodes, the arrival of a new character will turn Alya Smith 's life upside down : the doctor will have to deal with her sad past when Fikriye Gürdel , her biological mother, suddenly shows up in Mardin.

The story kicks off when Alya begins receiving a series of calls from a number registered on her cell phone, which she chooses not to answer. Cihan Albora realizes something is wrong, but the woman evades all his questions.

Meanwhile, Fikriye, a rather eccentric woman in her sixties, arrives in Mardin, wearing very daring clothes that will make the despotic Sadakat turn up her nose . Sparks will immediately fly between the two women, but the real twist will come when Fikriye shows up at Villa Albora and reveals that she is Alya's mother.

A revelation that surprises everyone, given that Alya has always claimed she was adopted by Caroline , a Canadian teacher, due to the absence of her birth mother. There is no love lost between Alya and Fikriye: Smith will urge her to leave Mardin, pointing out that the only mother she's ever known was Caroline.

A little later, Alya emotionally recounts her sad past to Cihan: Fikriye worked in a brothel and brought home slimy men who, when Alya became a teenager, set their sights on her. The girl asked her friend Cansu for help, who introduced her to Caroline. The woman adopted her and took her to Canada in exchange for a large sum of money she raised by selling her only home.

With tears in her eyes, Alya will tell Cihan that her mother sold her to Caroline, which is why she can't forgive her. Cihan will act to protect her and go to Fikriye's hotel with a ticket to Istanbul, asking her to leave Mardin. But the woman will reject his request: she is ill and wants to spend the remaining time with Alya and her nephew Deniz.
