Giulia Provvedi , one half of the musical duo Le Donatella , is said to be the first official contestant on the new edition of Big Brother VIP , airing in September on Canale 5 and hosted by Ilary Blasi . The rumor was first leaked by journalist Giuseppe Candela in the weekly magazine Chi.

The return to the house

For the singer, this would be a return to Italy's most closely watched house: Giulia Provvedi previously competed on Big Brother VIP in 2018 alongside her sister Silvia. This time, however, she's returning alone, ready to step through the red door for the new edition of the reality show.

According to the weekly magazine, Mediaset has chosen her to provide the program with the first entertainment offering of the season: a face already familiar to reality TV viewers, capable of immediately sparking interest in the new cast.

Waiting for the official cast

The news comes while we wait for the official announcement of the full cast: the new edition of Big Brother VIP will start in September in prime time on Canale 5 , once again hosted by Ilary Blasi .
