Temptation Island: Is Filippo Bisciglia on the verge of being replaced? The latest rumors.

Temptation Island ended with record numbers, but Filippo Bisciglia 's future as host has been the subject of controversy. According to the latest rumors, there's talk of a possible replacement for the next season.

Criticisms of the management

In this edition, the host appeared more present and engaged than in the past. Some viewers accused him of being less neutral during the bonfires, particularly in the discussions between Cristian and Soraya and between Giovanni and Sabrina.

The criticisms were also echoed by industry insiders. Raffaella Mennoia , the program's longtime creator and Maria De Filippi 's right-hand woman , told La Stampa that she would prefer to see Bisciglia "limit himself to reporting reality, without taking a stand."

The rumor about the replacement

Gossip expert Amedeo Venza has relaunched the rumor: some insiders are reportedly unconvinced by the change of pace, and during recording, the production was forced to halt filming to allow the host to "downsize." Discussions are already underway regarding a possible replacement.

Record numbers

The grand finale on July 29th drew 4.247.000 viewers with a 35,5% share , bringing the season's average to 3.970.000 viewers with a 31,33% share. These numbers make a farewell unlikely at this point: Canale 5's docu-reality remains the most-watched program of the summer.

For now, however, the replacement remains just a rumor: no official confirmation has come from Mediaset. The host, for his part, remains committed to the format and to the audience, who recognize him as the historic face of the "pinnettu."
