Up tonight Rai 1, at 9.30 pm, will be broadcast for the first time Teo and Zodì – A Camel for a Friend, 2023 French adventure comedy directed by Eric Barbier.

The plot

The film tells the story of Teo, a 12-year-old nomad boy who finds a small orphaned dromedary in the desert. The child takes care of it, names it Zodì and becomes his inseparable friend. When a veterinarian, Julia, discovers that Zodì is an exceptional runner, the animal's fate changes: the poacher Tarek wants to take possession of him to sell him. To save his friend, Teo flees and crosses the Sahara, braving sandstorms and the salt sea, with one goal: to enter Zodì in the largest dromedary race in the world, Abu Dhabi.
