The plot

A family is mysteriously sealed inside their home. To survive, they must contend with increasingly scarce resources and the disturbing force that keeps them trapped. The film begins with a simple yet distressing premise, with the protagonists forced to live together for years in a space that transforms from a refuge into a prison.

The screenplay is signed by Matthew Robinson, while the production is entrusted to Chernin Entertainment and 3 Arts Entertainment. The film has a running time of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.

The cast

Alongside Greta lee, fresh from the success of “Past Lives”, and of Wagner Moura, the cast also includes Gabriel Barbosa. Directed by Louis Leterrier, known for blockbusters such as “Fast X” and the “Lupin” series.

“The Last House” will be available from August 7th exclusively on Netflix.
